MATTHEW MEADOWS

A retired ballet dancer, a computer programmer, a singer/songwriter, a ReverbNation Seattle top-10 artist, and currently recording bits as one of the villains in an opera called Liberteria.

He released Etherati one year ago, a 100% solo effort, and he’s been on a rocket ever since (burn, baby, burn), with multiple TV & film opportunities and collaborations with artists around the world in the ensuing months.

Now finishing up Temple of Zither, his 2012 album, and producer Stuart Epps is mastering the best tracks. Smokehouse, the lead song on the album, was Stuart’s gift on Christmas Eve and they’re kicking off 2012 with it because it’s sticky & sweet, with just a touch of heat.

For this who didn’t catch the Rango reference, my YouTube handle is Rango the Dog.  Last week I revealed the secret behind Operation Rango, a video called Check 1,2 that includes a mix of geek humor, metalish excerpts from The Ringmaster, and a form of stylized dancing I call guitar kata.  The reviews have been extremely generous and it clocked over 1,000 views in the first six days with extremely high engagement measurements.  People are watching it all the way through and coming back for repeated viewings.  It’s a bit of trainwreck, hard to watch but harder to stop watching.  No accounting for taste, but I promise you will laugh.
